Appreciation - 2009

If you always do what you have always done, you'll always get what you have always got.

I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY, PEACEFUL AND PROSPEROUS
NEW YEAR!!
LOVE AND BEST WISHES TO ALL!!

Here we are with a whole new year ahead of us! And I am grateful to have lived another year and to see a new year in.
As you know I had a Breast scare a few weeks ago although the doctors didn't seem to be too concerned which was good but when I got to the hospital and the specialist told me he could feel a lump yet my GP couldn't...WOW! I got a fright, but thankfully as you know, all is well.
Whether it be a good thing or bad thing that happens in our lives we should be grateful because we learn so much from the bad and at the end of it we appreciate more what is in our lives.

I am 43 in a few days time, another year older and I hope, another year wiser! My Birthday is on the same day as Elvis Presley's was, for those of you who don't know then you will need to Google it.

Another thing I appreciate but didn't realise at the time is Raw food, to have access to fresh raw food.
I have been eating what I want, when I want for a week or so now with no raw food and I have noticed quite a few negative things.
When I was eating raw I was having a few loo problems where I was unable to go very well so, I thought over the Christmas I will drop the raw for the week or so and maybe I can go easier, but NOPE! No difference....TMI...sorry! I will have a tad more good oils to help.

Anyway, the things I have noticed with eating cooked foods

I have felt sickly on and off the whole time.
Headaches on and off the whole time.
Lank hair, very much so.
Extremely tired.
Acid.
Breakouts.
Generally unwell.

I can remember whilst eating raw I wasn't feeling those things and if I did they certainly didn't last for any length of time. I appreciate having access to beautiful RAW FOODS.
I didn't notice all of the positives of eating raw at the time but after eating cooked foods, WOW! Do I appreciate the Raw food, and more so now.

I stepped on the scales this morning, so I now have my starting point for 2009. I am still in the 12's....FANTASTIC!! At 12st 11lb - I am thrilled with that considering what and how much I have been eating.
I will post the pic of my weigh in later today and every Thursday from then on in.

I had my morning shower and then I came downstairs for my healthy Breakfast of Oats, Dates, Ground Brazils and Rice milk. I don't think Rice Milk is raw but I only had a tad.

I got some GREAT!! Kitchen things for my Christmas presents which you will see as I use them.

I will get back later with my weigh in pic and then every day.

Love to hear about the poo :) lol
I've started posting pics of my weigh-in too. It's a handy record to have, I think. Hope you don't mind.
Glad to hear about the boobies being OK!
Stay current, won't you?
See ya.

I'm looking forward to seeing and reading about what you will be doing with raw foods in 2009. You are doing great with the weight loss. I'm proud of you. Isn't it amazing how our bodies let us know what they want. I'm adding mor organic along with some nutritional supplements.
